Antique Moroccan Small Vessel

Description

Antique jars were used for the preservation of olives and dates. There was that long length of time when olive oil was not processed for export, bottled, and shipped. It was stored only in jars, the design of which helped to keep the oil fresh. Jars were typically buried in the sand to preserve the olives at the market.
